W.I.N. exists to transform mourning into movement. Through our “Seven H’s,” we provide a foundation for widows and widowers to not just survive—but thrive—spiritually, emotionally, and practically. Each pillar is grounded in purpose, scripture, and healing.
The journey of widowhood is often filled with pain, isolation, and uncertainty. The 7 H’s are not just pillars of programming—they are pathways to restoration. Each one speaks directly to the unique needs and struggles widows and widowers face after profound loss. Rooted in biblical truth and practical action, the 7 H’s reflect the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. Here’s why they matter:
Hope – Empowerment
We reignite belief in life after loss. Through Christ-centered encouragement and personal development, we empower widows and widowers to rediscover purpose, embrace new dreams, and walk boldly into their next chapter.

Help– Essential Resources
We offer practical, tangible support: we assists with connections to trusted local services. Our goal is to lighten the burdens that often come after loss.

Healing– Grief Recovery Support Groups
W.I.N. fosters safe, sacred spaces where widows and widowers can speak freely, cry openly, and be surrounded by compassion—not judgment. Our non-clinical support circles are grounded in prayer and shared strength.

Horticulture– Therapeutic Urban Gardening & Food Sustainability
Healing starts in the soil. Through guided gardening programs widows and widowers will learn to grow their own food and reconnect with nature as a source of nourishment, peace, and purpose.

Housing– Housing Sustainability Support
We assist with finding resources for affordable housing and short-term transitional solutions for widows and widowers experiencing displacement. Stability is the first step to rebuilding.
